Bookings Process

We would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who has embraced the bookings process and fed back your experiences. It does make a difference. Upon your feedback please see the "How to Reschedule/Cancel your booking" tutorial.

Student of the month!

This is a brand new feature where we will focus on all students regardless age and celebrate an individual’s efforts on the mats.

After the introduction of our booking system, we have been able to start identifying trends and measure attendance. This is only one way of assessing a students efforts. However, when an individuals attendance is such a significant number higher than everyone else, it makes it an easy decision.

With an attendance of a whopping 21 sessions in May, Amara is our month’s winner! She is now a proud owner of one our Gi patches.

This is a friendly competition with Checkmat Team mates from London and beyond.

A new comp, but should be a good experience.

Great for first time or rusty competitors.

New Custom Gi's & Rashguards

We are in the process of designing new Gi's & Rashguards, which is exciting. These will most likely be on a pre-order basis. We will be in touch regrading this soon.

If you are in the market to get yourself new Gi, then hold of just a little while longer.

When I joined I had nothing but encouragement and support from the gym, such a great environment to learn BJJ and escape life’s general stress. Been to other gyms and no other has the same vibe. I have been coming to classes for just under a year and Andy is an amazing instructor. He has built an incredible environment that is so welcoming to everyone. There are so many great, friendly and supportive people here with a real team culture. Andy’s classes are always so detailed, safe and structured and he pays great attention to detail to everyone. I’d never done any sort of martial arts before joining, to be honest I’d always felt it’d be awkward to join and setup but my good friend started a week before and said Coach Andy was different level. 6 months on and I’m absolutely loving it. From my first session, was welcomed into the community by the team - who are always happy to help you learn and Andy has an awesome way of teaching. As an older starter I was apprehensive about training, but right from Day 1 I was put at ease by Andy and how friendly everybody was. There is a great mix of levels and ages training here.

When I joined I was surprised at the skill level  of even the newest people in the gym - which all comes down to Andy and the community at the Armory for the coaching and training. It’s a really welcoming place with no judgment it made me feel very welcomed from day 1. Andy is an amazing coach and really tries to look out for his pupils. Could not recommend this place enough
